Dockery,Kevin. Harper Collins. Avon. 2003

Dennis Chalker use to be an ordinary civilian doing his usually nine to five shift everyday, always wanting more, he never seemed happy with what he was doing with his life. By continuing to search for himself he volunteered to join the Army Airborne and started his rise through the ranks. Still wanting more, he turned his focus to another branch of the armed forces: The Navy. Chalker once again volunteered his services to train for the Navy Seals Special Forces Unit. If he completed all that the training course could throw at him he would be considered by all to be one of the best. This book One Perfect OP: Navy Seal Special Warfare Teams, takes you through Chalker’s very early days in the Army, from his countless missions in Granada, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, all the way up to his most top secret missions with the seals team. Which include his most successful mission which he calls a “perfect op”. This book shows the detailed inner workings of how a seal operation works all the way up to the completion. And never has there been a more perfect story of the extraordinary brotherhood of the soldiers serving to protect our nation.

This sounds like a very good book. I like how the guy is just an average guy and wants something else in his life so he decides to join the military. I also like how getting to a certain rank isn't enough for him and he fights to be a navy seal. I would definitely read this book it sounds like it has a very good story and the book would have a lot of suspense.

This book sounds very similar to mine, and those types of books that involve action and "secret missions" interest me very much, i find it appealing that there is some action and suspense throughout the book.
